Premium Drumsticks
Pellwood is a combination of traditional manufacturing methods and state-of-the-art technology employed in the production of Pellwood drumsticks. The US-sourced Hickory and European Hornbeam woods are dried slowly and naturally in the open air until immediately prior to production whence required moisture levels are achieved using a condensation dryer, this method is sympathetic to the wood and allows its character and very high quality to be preserved. Pellwood drumsticks are finished using a fine layer of anti-slip lacquer ensuring the natural structure of the wood is not compromised and allowing for a comfortable and natural experience for the drummer.
Since 2009, our company has introduced a unique technology that consists of WEIGHING WOOD BEFORE PRODUCTION.
The wood is then sorted into weight categories and each of our drum stick models is literally assigned a wood with a weight that does not change. So if you buy first-class Pellwood drumsticks and later buy the same type again, they will always have the same weight.
Premium drum sticks are weighed to the nearest 1 gram.
